TOTALEnergies Safari Project - Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania

In partnership with AECOM, USK undertook detailed site characterization of soil and groundwater contamination at BP Virginia Retail Services Station in Virginia, Free State. The project involved soil core sampling by direct push technology (DPT), installation of vapor probes and sampling of soil vapor using passivated canisters, Installation of groundwater monitoring wells, low flow groundwater sampling. Total project value was in excess $1,400,000 USD. 

The cleanup (soil and groundwater remediation) phase of this project was completed in partnership with RSK, where USK played a key role in drilling and installation of remediation wells for Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) and Multiphase Extraction (MPE) systems, with a project value in excess $500,000 USD.
